The Atlantean Chronicle
Greetings, fellow Atlanteans, trusted allies. It has been months since the last official communiqué from this government, but from here on, we shall ensure that you are regularly updated on regional events.
Atlantis has seen much advancement in the past twelve months. Nearly a year ago, we were about half our current size when we agreed to enter into negotiations to establish the 'Commonwealth of Regions'. This project involved a significant leap of faith, moving from our old and trusted regional forums to the shared forums of the Commonwealth. However, since the Charter was ratified in January, we have never looked back. Our integration into this interregional community has been smooth, and we have both contributed to, and benefited from the high level of activity here. The friendship fostered between our fellow member regions and their citizens has been phenomenal.
Since I have ascended the throne in February, I have been fortunate enough to preside over the creation of the Knights of Atlantis, and to witness our population rise above 200 nations for the first time in our region's history. I am hopeful that this trend of growth shall continue, and that the Knights of Atlantis will develop into a formidable military force dedicated to the defense of the defenseless regions. I would also hope that we forge closer relations with our allies outside the Commonwealth.
May Poseidon's benevolence grace us all, Long live Atlantis!

Political News
In early June, Atlantis held elections for the Triumvirate, Atlantis's executive council. Incumbents, Lemmingtopias and Battlion were reelected, while Robbafett34 (Imperial Duran) was elected for the first time.
Lemmingtopias was elected as Civic Archon (minister for home affairs), and Robbafett34 was elected as Foreign Archon (minister for foreign affairs). Battlion was elected to the office of Commonwealth Archon, and thus serves as the primary Atlantean Senator to the Senate of Commonwealth of Regions.

Return of the Knights
In April, the Knights of Atlantis were reestablished as Atlantis's official military force, after having been disbanded several years ago due to lack of interest. Lemmingtopias, as the sole surviving Knight from Atlantis's past as an active defender region, was given charge of the new order as the first Knight-Commander.
The order is still in its infancy, but it aims to become a successful defender army, protecting not only Atlantis and her allies, but any region whose sovereignty is threatened by raiders and imperialists. The Knights will be working closely with the rangers of the Founderless Regions Alliance in our joint mission of protecting the helpless regions of the world from occupation.

A Royal Engagement
King Lemurian and Haven of Atlantis recently confirmed rumors when they publicly announced their engagement. The happy couple will be united when the Royal Wedding takes place in July. Everyone in the world will be welcome to attend this joyous occasion. Formal invites will be sent out closer to the date.

News From Within the Commonwealth
General Elections
In the June Secretary-General and Deputy-General elections of the Commonwealth of Regions, Mestra and Battlion of Atlantis ran on a joint ticket. Mestra was elected for a second term as Secretary-General, while Battlion won the recently created Deputy-General position.
The two candidates ran on a New Direction, Your Direction Campaign promising to manage the Commonwealth so that it can best serve the individual, while also making the governance of the Commonwealth more efficient.
Commonwealth Roleplay
In the Valley of the Seven Sages, the shared Commonwealth RP forum, much action takes place. With several regions taking part, international diplomacy and war has never been more complicated. For some reason, Atlantean nations find themselves frequently at war with nations of The United States of Europe!

Star Odyssey is a multi-tiered Commonwealth wide Roleplay, in which you can take the place of either a single person or an entire nation in the Milky Way galaxy in the year 3546. Currently the Galaxy is divided into seven main factions. The three Great powers The United Trade Federation, Sanctuarian Dominion, and the Saiyan Hegemony. The four secondary powers being: the Carathian Empire, the Allutian entente, The Furen Consortium, The Alliance of Free Worlds, and the Ti’sis Intelligence. Added to that are the various sub-factions that have risen during the course of the RP, currently there are only three: the Valis Republic, the Tethyan Union, and the Children of Gaia, who are all part of the United Trade Federation.
