So, basically, have you been to any nice concerts? Any well-known bands that you've seen?
The reason I posted this is that I went to see Deep Purple yesterday, and they were pretty good. About a year ago I also went to see Iron Maiden at a festival, and they were awesome! The band members are like 50 years old and they still play like they're 20. I also saw the Kaiser Chiefs at that festival.

O boy I've been to a ton of concerts lol
I just saw Asking Alexandria for the second time this past weekend. I've seen Diturbed and Avenged Sevonfold three times each. Seen Rob Zombie and a ton of other modern rock bands.
I've also seen tons of country concerts. Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker (lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish), Justin Moore, Josh Tompson, Easton Corbin and a few others

I've been to a good number in my youth, although I can't really recall them all, saw the Rolling Stones one year at the state fair, went to a God Smack with my brother. I haven't been to as many as i'd like lately, too poor.. >_< But I did go to a Bob Dylan concert a year back. Next to the Beatles Bob Dylan is my favorite singer / song writer. However, being in his 70s, it was a huge disappointment... I couldn't understand a bleeding word of it unless I knew the song by heart, and he didn't even sing any of this "Classic" or well known songs either. Last summer I went to the Great Blue Heron Festival which was a blast, a ton of blue grass folky music. Love to do that again for sure. www.greatblueheron.com/

Well, just came back from a Saxon concert. They were superb, almost as good as Maiden.
@ Nibu: I know what you mean with Bob Dylan, Deep Purple's singer had a similar problem, and his range has diminished over the years (which is why they didn't play the classic Child In Time). However, Deep Purple's ace in the hole has always been the wizardry of their guitarist and keyboardist, so whatever shortcomings the singer had, the solos made up for it. They did at least play Smoke on the Water. No Highway Star though, which is a pity cuz it's my favorite song :S
