DENOUNCING The Smoking Gun of Southern Bellz for interfering with a free and fair election by tampering with an election in progress and corruptly maintaining power, through the unjust ejection of candidate nations.

AWARE that universally applied principles of international law mandate the democratic election of Regional Delegates by providing in every region of the world that the nation with the most endorsements at the time of the votes are counted is automatically elected Regional Delegate;

NOTING that the nation of The Allied States of Devonitians replaced The Smoking Gun of Southern Bellz and became Regional Delegate of the South Pacific by using this democratic, universally accepted method of election,

APPRECIATING that The Allied States of Devonitians respected democratic rule by announcing free elections and by inviting and allowing all nations in the South Pacific to freely endorse other nations so as to freely and democratically select a new Regional Delegate,

UNDERSTANDING that after convincing enough nations to unendorse The Allied States of Devonitians, The Smoking Gun of Southern Bellz resumed the role of Regional Delegate,

RECOGNIZING that at the time The Smoking Gun of Southern Bellz resumed the role of Regional Delegate a democratic election was still in progress,

APPALLED that upon returning to power The Smoking Gun of Southern Bellz suspended democratic rule to remain in power, violating the political and civil rights of the nations of the South Pacific with a campaign of repression which included:

* Unilaterally terminating an election in progress,
* placing the South Pacific under a state of martial law,
* ejecting candidate nations which had received valid endorsements,
* effectively destroying the votes of nations which endorsed the candidate nations

NOTING that such actions effect democratic decision making of the world community because the Regional Delegate of the South Pacific with it's large number of votes has outsized influence over if resolutions pass or fail in the World Assembly;

PROTESTING that by ejecting candidate nations involved in an on-going election The Smoking Gun of Southern Bellz not only interfered with the civil and political rights of said nations, but effectively engaged in vote tampering by effectively destroying the ballots of a approximately 100 nations which the two candidate nations prior to ejection;

DENOUNCING the disenfranchisement of over 100 nations during an on-going election as an unwarranted attack on the right of the nations of a region to democratically select a Regional Delegate;

FINDING such actions to be dangerous, discriminatory, and a threat to the right of nations to democratically choose Regional Delegates;

FEARING such corruption and disregard for the spirit of democratic rule may spread unless these corrupt and undemocratic actions are condemned.

HOPING that by publicly condemning The Smoking Gun of Southern Bellz the Security Council will discourage other nations from the deplorable and undemocratic practice of undermining, tampering with or otherwise interfering with on-going elections;

The nations of the Security Council hereby condemn The Smoking Gun of Southern Bellz.

I am contacting you in your capacity as Regional Delegate, to ask that you vote in favor a resolution seeking to condemn Southern Bellz for interfering with a free and fair election by tampering with an election in progress and corruptly maintaining power, through the unjust ejection of candidate nations.

The resolution is presently in the Security Council and needs every vote it can get to pass, and as a Regional Delegate your vote is especially helpful.

I also want to warn you that supporters of Southen Bellz are spreading deceptive information sending telegrams to many nations that endorsed the proposal to get them to withdraw endorsements. I urge you not to fall for their deceptions. They focus on the fact that Southern Bellz was overthrown when a single nation "invaded" and took control of a 5,000 nation region. But this proposal has nothing to do with that. This resolution is about what Southern Bellz did to undermine an election. This campaign of deception is meant to confuse and distract from the real issue: That Southern Bellz should face condemnation because when she reclaimed her seat as Delegate an election was in progress. Nations of the South Pacific were endorsing candidates who were actively campaigning. These were valid endorsements received legally. Southern Bellz decided the issue by ejecting the candidate nations, thereby making useless the endorsements/votes of the citizens of the South Pacific.

Supporters of Southern Bellz also claimed that all nations ejected were hostile. THAT IS A LIE. My nation was among those ejected and I was not hostile, but had simply acquired 80 endorsements after campaigning to be delegate. and Southern Bellz ejected my nation and several others who were doing the same so our endorsements would be erased. Nor was my nation a member of the West Pacific. I re-located here after Southern Bellz ejected me to the Rejected Realms because it was clear Southern Bellz would eject me once I put this resolution forward.

And since ejecting the candidate nations things have gotten worse. Aware that an election must now proceed, after ejecting every nation in the South Pacific that had acquired enough endorsements to stand a fair chance, they have now set in motion plans to have a fixed election. They fixed it by ejecting candidate nations who had about 80 endorsements, but allowing friends and supporters with 80 endorsements or more to remain. Now they are letting some of those nations run for Delegate. That means no one else has a fair chance, because any other nation seeking to run would start off so far behind. And that is not all.

Southern Bellz has stated a policy that no nation can run for delegate without first gaining approval by spending three months on an off site forum! This effectively prevents over 99% of the nations in the South Pacific that are WA members from having the opportunity to be elected delegate.

Southern Bellz enforces this policy by ejecting nations that democratically and legally win endorsements, and hence deprives the nations of the South Pacific from being able to have a say in choosing their elected representative to the World Assembly.

Requiring a three month period on an off-site forum just to run for Delegate is a policy that assures that only a tiny minority -- the friends and political cronies of Southern Bellz -- have any chance to become delegate.

I urge you, in the strongest possible terms, to vote in favor of democratic rule by endorsing the resolution to condemn Southern Bellz.

I want thank you very much for endorsing the resolution to condemn Southern Bellz for interfering with a free and fair election. The vote is extremely close and opponents, in an effort to win, have been urging Regional Delegates to withdraw their support. Please do not do so.

They are sending telegrams mixing truth with half truth, lies, and innuendo. I've seen two different telegrams so far, but the common theme is too focus on the misdeeds of a lone nation that invaded the South Pacific. My nation had nothing to do with any invasion.The issue of invasion is simply a distraction in an effort to change the subject. The condemnation resolution is about how Southern Bellz tampered with an on-going, democratic election. The ejection of candidate nations took place AFTER the invader was ejected and no longer posed a threat.

Opponents of the condemnation do not even deny that Southern Bellz ejected candidate nations for nothing more then participating in an election, instead they make self serving excuses as to why tampering with an on-going election was some how OK.

One telegram claims that only hostile nations were ejected. A LIE. When my nation was ejected I was not hostile, I had simply campaigned and collected endorsements. South Pacific nations were still endorsing candidates who had been actively campaigning. These were valid endorsements received legally. Southern Bellz terminated an on-going election by ejecting the candidate nations, thereby destroying and making useless the endorsements/votes of the citizens of the South Pacific.

With so much attention focused on the South Pacific, it was clear that an election would have to be allowed, so Southern Bellz set out to control the outcome. This assured that if Southern Bellz lost one of her supporters would win, since any other nation, would be starting off too far behind to have a fair chance.

Southern Bellz also made clear that a nation seeking to be elected Delegate could be ejected unless they gained approval by spending three months on an off site forum! This effectively prevents over 99% of the WA nations in the South Pacific from being able to run, and deprives the nations of the South Pacific of the democratic right to endorse whom they choose. Well, I voted to leave it up to you, but considering the FRA supported Southern Bellz to reclaim her spot, I think it would be a little hypocritical for me to support it since I would have been there if my WA wasn't busy in the Warzone. >_>

Well it seems like the majority of here support condemning her, it's not a big deal either way for me. And believe me when I say the actions taken by the FRA in the south pacific have been highly controversial, it resulted in the near impeachment (a vote was called but not passed) of the Arch Chancellor Unibot, ending with him resigning and his region 'Eastern Islands of Dharma' leaving the FRA.

Plus not to mention the one who over through Southern Bellz was a known NS Forum (not game) MOD Sedgistan.

So it's chaos lol.
