Since the Internet has been in flames about this issue, I was curious in what everyone here thought of the above. I expect that you don't know what I mean with Brein, but that's because it's a Dutch thing. It has to do that a judge ordered two internet providers here to block access to the Pirate Bay. Brein, which is an organization supporting the entertainment industry, supports this, and there's been a bit of a debate here ever since. Most surprisingly (or not), Geert Wilders is actually in favor of allowing TPB, citing freedom of speech. I didn't think I would ever agree with him on anything.

I didn't know about this until I went on wikipedia and Google during the "blackout". I see the points to both sides and but I agree more with the opposition but as long as the sites I go on (if the law is passed) aren't affected much which is mainly Facebook, Wikipedia, and Nationstates, I'm happy unless we end up as Iran and China when it comes to the internet. But I'm a big law & order kind of guy so I want internet piracy gone but I'm also very constitutional and if it breaks the constitution I'm not for it, but then agian there was no such thing as computers in the 1700's. So confuseing!
