Greetings everyone,
Here's my first update as the new Arch-Chancellor of the FRA, after elections have just concluded.
The Lepearchauns and Wibblefeet have been reconfirmed to their position, respectively, of Chief of Defence Force and Speaker of the Assembly.
Belschaft has been elected for the first time to a Cabinet role and is now in charge of Regional Recruitment, for which he plans to get more individuals directly involved into the organisation.
Cocodian and Pengwiniah have been elected in a joint ticket to command FRA's Intelligence Division; unfortunately, Cocodian has been forced to resign only a few days into his term, when RA representatives argued that joint office-holding (quite a common practice in the last two years) was in contrast with the wording of the Charter.
The Assembly resumed its usual activity after the summer slump, and is now focusing its attention on a proposal by The New Inquisition and The Land of Kings and Emperors to end their years-old hostility towards FRA member regions, and on a Charter amendment that will explicitly allow for joint tickets in future elections.
The FRA Rangers have taken part in 6 defences (the most important of them being Islam on September 11th) and several liberations since the last update, although this still is a disappointing decrease compared to previous activity levels.
Pengwiniah (and Cocodian, in his newly-assumed role of Deputy Minister) is currently busy overhauling the Intel forums, to provide a better infrastructure for our agents to base their activity from and to reorganise the collected information. These are only the first steps of an extensive program, and I can assure that the Intelligence Division will definitely be the main focus of this term.
