Now i have nothing against China's people...but their government is the most vile, outrageous, and selfish government i have ever known. Their not even CLOSE to communist, more like fascist or dictatorship under one party...the world is ignoring them as they are BEATING and ABUSING their OWN CITIZENS...i could name like 50 examples, but there is one main one...TIENANMEN SQUARE

If I ever went to China, I would probably get thrown in jail (I'm not much of a fan of Dictatorships). Why are some of the most corrupt nations in Asia? Like North Korea, Iran, and China, and there might be more nations in Asia like this but I'm not sure. But I find it interesting and sad/bad that China took over Tibet, and has Southern Mongolia, and part of Tajikistan, yet hardly any one complains about this but if the United States and several other nations fight terroist or waterboard them, then some people scream "bloody murder" (I think I might of over exaggerated a little with the "bloody murder" but it brings the point across).

China may have the largest army in the world but the U.S has the largest navy in the world and I think the U.S also has the largest airforce. Plus China's soldiers are mostly conscripts so their only advantage is sheer numbers.

+ thousands of other things Yeah, I remember reading C&C Generals, one of the games I play was banned there too. Later I think I read that they used music from that game in the opening ceremony for the Olympics. Irony some people are kind enough to provide a list: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BannedInChinaIf I ever went to China, I would probably get thrown in jail (I'm not much of a fan of Dictatorships). C'mon, I lived there. It wasn't all bad (the pollution was though). Sure, I was only a kid, but you'll survive. BTW there is a reason why we're not picking on China as much as other dictatorships or human rights abusers- Economics. China is one of the biggest economies in the world- badmouth it and threaten sanctions. China already does it if you have diplomatic relations with Taiwan. As such, the only nations that can afford to have relations with Taiwan are ministates. Plus, politics decide who is in the human-rights-abuser spotlight. We hear plenty on Iran's human rights abusers, but near-neighbor and US ally Saudi Arabia? Not so much.

true true also as Kardas said you dont mess with quite possibly the fastest growing nation on the planet and they have technology the surpasses some of ours in fact most of americas current technology we wouldnt have if in WW2 we hadnt stolen it from the germans right after they surrenderd ...there wasnt really even a "american vs Russian Rocket proogram" it was a German Rocket program with a american lable slapped on it considering all the Scientest were ex german or Nazi! so my point is we are now lagging behind china and other asian countrys because the boost that importing all the Nazi and German Scientest is slowing down now I say Nazi and german because despite the Steryotype not all germans wwere nazis and not all nazis were german)

Maybe this is because I'm European, but I don't think we're lagging behind in terms of technology. Maybe in terms of production power (I'm not sure on this) but we're still ahead in terms of innovation I think. China has, some time anyway, copying American or European designs for software to cars, but I still think we're ahead in terms of innovation. I mean, Apple release a hell of a lot, and Europe's also got CERN

I just did a current event on China for school and China hacked the G-mail accounts of hundreds of people incudling military personal, goverment officals, and people in the United States and other countries in Asia, mainly South Korea and google thinks this has been going on for over a year or so. The Chinese goverment also hacked the accounts of political activist in China. But a couple of weeks before the hacking was found out the Pentagon declared that cyber attacks that sabotage or steal valuable information from the goverment is considered an act of war. But I don't think there will be another war with China if anything the U.S will ethier do the same to China or just come up with better protection.

i agree firstly becayse any person can see we would loose we have a slight advantage in technology but a fancy computer program or one single peice of hardware that does one thing only and costs millions of dollars just wouldnt hold out for long against the sheer mass of china we would lose unless we could call together some allys then maybe we wouldnt scondly we get the majorty of our things made in china so it would be self defeating to go off to war against the country that provides us with alot of our things wed need to re-center or manufacturing centers on the united states thirdly the have nukes we have nukes and nobody wants a mexican stand off with nukes then we all go down the shitter ;P
