this is a strategy i used in a realistic Geopolitical Simulator and it succeded with minimum loses, if the Iran-US tensions got any higher, this-to me- would be the best strategy what do you think? (ik its a little mesy but i made it in half an hour)

I don't think it's in Iran's best interests to go to war with the US, as obvious as that sounds. Even with the nuclear weapon that they may or may not be making right now, they're still facing the most advanced military force in the world with a bunch of allies to back it up. They'd be outnumbered, outgunned, and outnuked (if push comes to shove).
So if Iran plays their game well, this should never come to pass.
As for the diagram itself, the only thing I can notice is that you're forcing them to fight on many fronts, which is always a solid move.

Realisticly war with Iran will always be a bad idea. If they get invaded, by anyone except perhaps the Iraqis, they will probbaly just shrug, launch nuclear missiles (which tehy are easily capable of possesing if even half od what we hear is true) at Tel Aviv/Jerusalum. They threaten this every time anything happens, so you may not lose much, but your only ally in the middle east would be crippled. Anyway, as for the plan itself, it's fairly sound. Attacking over Iraq though may have it's problems-Iran (i think) has a fairly extensive defencive line not unlike the Maginot/Sigfried line along the Iraqi border, and as a result, such an attack may be fairly costly. The attack from the coast and Afghanistan may work out well though. They've had anti naval missiles since the Iran/Iraq war though, so that's another thing to be wary of in reality. Also building on the Iran/Iraq war, it may be fairly easy to beat their national army-it isn't the best, and they remained non aligned in the Cold War for the most part, so will not have highly advanced hardware. However, it's a fundementalist regime. In the Iran/Iraq war they managed to inspire their soldiers to literally run into uncut barbed wire as a human shield for more experianced soldiers. You'd end up being bogged down by endless militias, and the US army is fairly incapable in dealing with these, due to the nature ofpublic opinion. It would end up like another vietnam eventually. The plan itself is fairly sound, but realidticly, you wouldn't win the war-It wouldn't be worth it. You'd defeat their standing army, and overthrow the theocracy, certainly, but whether you'd be able to hold it in place? Afterall, the opposition in Iran is fairly weak.

Im much more interested in what geo-political simulation you used. What is it?
