Greetings friends and allies.
First off, the Defender Awards 2011 were a huge success. I'd like to thank all those who took part in making the awards run smoothly and successfully. Particularly this year as we had a record number of confirmed votes, forty five (45) surpassing last years record of thirty nine (39). I'd also like to congratulate all the winners and nominees of this years event. All were well deserving of their recognition, long may it continue. A full list of winners can be found either on the FRA forums, or on the Nationstates Forum.
Our Regional Recruitment Officer has been working hard narrowing down potential new allies and members, and has had a number of successes so I'd like to welcome The Flying Squadron as our newest member region. Great to have a new active and enthusiastic region joining the FRA and we look forward to working with you closer in the future.
Debate has hit the Regional Assembly concerning the inactive member regions and whether or not their status should be downgraded. This is an interesting debate, and I'd encourage all our member regions to get involved.
The Rangers have been extremely active since the last update, as a recent resurgence in raider activity has caught us unawares. However, after a few unsuccessful campaigns the Rangers have stepped up and the fight back led by our Chief of Defence Spartzerina is on with a recorded twenty four (24) successful defences between the first and seventeenth of February.
Once again our intel department is a hive of activity, but is still looking to expand, so if you want to get involved, contact Intelligence Minister Cocodian.
This message has been brought to you by the Arch Chancellor of the Founderless Regions Alliance,
Wopruthien.
