Well, this is a perfect example of how some teams just cant cope with a war in their homeland, an assasination attempt, and being moved to shelters during hundreds of vicsious tornados. But this is how the game of Lug is played, people! Sigh.... Anyways, the game between the Neo Nibu Dragons and the Skooby Snak Devildogs was relativley uneventfull, and it significantly lowered the moral of the people in the stands as they were hoping for a knock-down drag-out game to welcome them back from the tornados. Neither Team seemed truly prepared for the match, but even though it was a sluggish, the DevilDogs Blocker seemed relativley prepared, unlike the Dragons Blocker, who let shot after shot fly past him. This is the end of the line for the Dragons, our first elimination! We wish you the best of luck in future competitions!
Final Score
Neo Nibu Dragons: 0 Skooby Snak Devil Dogs: 7

OOC: With the "random" feature on Excel, but the outcomes are multiplied or divided according to past losses, outside influences, and things you post before the game.

Dick Liesalot: Wow! What an amazing game of Lug! Thats one for the record books, people! I am of course refering to the game between the Cantian Firebirds, and the CIW Corvettes. The Firebirds came on a bit aggressive, throwing insults at their enemy, while the Corvettes were the exact oposite, calm and collected. While this strategy for the Corvettes to perform better, it also opened them up for injury, which is exactly what happened. The Corvettes had to go through most of the game without their world famous Blocker, William Jaller, as he was blindsided by a "misplaced" luggot to the knee that broke his leg. Jaller might be out for the rest of the tournament, and the crowd expected the Firebirds to win after that, but it only fired the Corvettes up. They adopted a similarly aggressive stance and scored point after point of the Firebirds. It was a knock-down, drag-out fight as the Firebirds caught on and started to score as well. Countless minor injuries occured, but in the end, the Corvettes manadged to win. Everyone here at the TKLC congratulates the Firebirds on an outstanding performance, and we hope to see you next year.
