Good Evening Nationstates!
Firstly, I would like to take a moment to thank those who attended the Coronation of myself and Mestra as High-King and Crown-Prince respectively. The event was most enjoyable and, despite a couple of unfortunate occurrences, has been deemed a success by most attendants.
The last few weeks in Atlantis have seen many happenings throughout the region and a great many political disagreements. It is my hope that these matters will soon be resolved for the common good of all the region and that they shall serve to make us stronger and more united. If there is one idea that I would hope is a common belief throughout the region, it is that together, we are strong. However, the most shocking political incident to have occurred of late is the resignation of our Delegate, Reparadocs, who has decided to focus more closely on his 'other-worldly' pursuits. I wish him the best of luck for his future endeavours and am glad that, despite no longer serving us in the World Assembly, he will still be active in Atlantis. I feel confident when I say, that Reparadocs has been the best and most popular Delegate to have served Atlantis in a long while.
Finally, I am proud to announce the forthcoming wedding between the Representative of Mestra, Ty'ran, and the Representative from Men are Inferior, Janelle. The happy couple have not yet publicised a date but you are sure to be invited.

World Assembly
The Region was shook last week after the surprise resignation of Delegate Reparadocs, who has served just over 40 days, despite his term being extended by a further 60 days on the same morning. The Councillor stated that he had to focus his attention onto other matters and tributes to the former Delegate have been delivered from throughout the Nations of Atlantis, seemingly unanimous in their sadness at his departure from the position. Marie Byrd Community has taken the hot seat on an interim basis until Elections are over with. Candidates are Mestra and Indie Lovers. We hope to have a new Delegate into Office before the next update.

Regional Politics
Political Parties
Three Political Parties were recently established in Atlantis, all within hours of each other. Two have survived: The Trident Party, Chaired by the representative from A Salty Dog and the Aegis Party, Chaired by the representative from Mestra. Within hours, after the Parties had been formed, Atlantis had descended into a spiral of political tribalism, backstabbing and numerous lengthy arguments in which both sides were arguing for the same thing.

Statute Amendments
Two Amendments to the Statute of Atlantis have been on the table in the Council of Guardians and Parliament over the last couple of weeks. The first, which has now entered into force, was Amendment Protocol I, which extended the term of the WA Delegate from 40 dys to 60 as well as making the Delegate elected rather than swapped around the Guardians of Atlantis. The Vote passed with 5 in favour and 0 Against.
The Second Amendment Vote, a preliminary vote in Parliament, proposed by the Trident Party, embodying a recommendation toe the Council of Guardians on a new Amendment Protocol, attempts to hand almost all power from the Guardians to parliament as well as several administrative major rearrangements of the Kingdom. The Proposal was introduced in Parliament along with an Opposition proposal by the Aegis Party. Parliamentarians were given the choice of the Proposals as well as the ability to vote against sending either to the Council. The vote finally ended, after much controversy, with 6 in Favour of the Trident Party Proposal, 3 In Favour of the Aegis Party Proposal and 0 Against both Proposals. The Recommendation is currently being debated within the Council of Guardians.

Mestra has been in Atlantis for around three months and has become an key player in the region, contributing enormously to the development of the region in a variety of fields and, in doing so, earned the respect and admiration of the entire region. The Representative from mestra is one of the most politically active in the region, commanding the attention of both the Council of Guardians and Parliament. His signature project is the Atlantis Trade Commission, upon which he serves as Chairman and he is also Chairman of the Aegis Party. His high level of service to the region lead to his nomination and approval to be Crowned as Crown-Prince of Atlantis recently. The region thanks Mestra for his brilliant work and recognises that the region would not be anywhere near as good without him.
Mestra is in the top 5% most Cultured in the World and top 10% in the region.
News in Brief
The Coronation of the High-King of Atlantis was gate-crashed two weeks ago ending a street brawl. It was the first, but certainly not last, time the new Royal Guard, which defend the Citadel and double as Inner City Police, had been deployed.
'ello 'ello 'ello, what have we hear then?
The Guards, were called out twice more within the next week in full riot gear after the Representative of Reparadocs, allegedly, incited a riot within the City Harbour and also to end a food fight, though the latter of the deployments ended in the Guards on retreat after a handfull of food fighters turned on the Mounted Riot Police. Claims that High-King Lemmingtopias was involved in the violent street clashes have been disputed. Police have denied they rode into peaceful protestors despite it being showed live on television. The Food Fights are still raging in Atlantis long after they were spread from The Council of Narnia

Palace deny claims that the High-King was involved in a stand-off with riot police hours after he bragged about it in the Parliament Press Office.
In other news, a founding member of Atlantis, Great A-tuin has returned to the region after being granted a Pardon, following several months being banned, by the Council of Guardians and has since been re-selected as a Member of the Council. Janelle, from Men are Inferior has also recently been selected to join the Council. A further old Member briefly returned yesterday morning but was quickly banned after trolling the forum for two hours and insulting just about every body. Despite the great annoyance caused by the incident, his closing remarks did have everyone in stitches. He has become the second person ever to be banned from a forum of Atlantis.

look i said i stop sending postings if you give me response to the emails but i get none at all so far and i have waited long time. a salty dog kept me here so long with all these spammings and the deleting of my posts and yet the little toe rag wont heven let me on when he admin man.
