I still like him. He's done a lot to repair the US' image in the world, and he's done more than people give him credit to (see this: www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/ ) Of course, it doesn't help that the Republicans are trying to stop every single thing he does, which is a destructive tendency of a two-party system in my opinion. He also doesn't draw attention to himself/what he's done, which doesn't really seem to work out for him But eh, he's WAAAAY better than Bush

Good, I agree better than bush but the Democrats have a good majority and he has more or less failed on healthcare which was a big thing for them. So for me he has good intentions and is doing the job well but lacks that something to push things through which is probably experience and in politics a lack of connections due to the amount of time he has been in the political scene.

To some central-european (that would be me), obama is WAY better than bush. He leaves much better impression than his coleague. And his health reform is, from my point of view, something completely normal. As far as i know, only US has that kind of system. So, i agree with you guys

You have a point- problem is, the Republicans keep filibustering and and working against pretty much everything Obama has proposed. Pity, 'cause Obama said he wanted to bypass the bi-partisan system, but they just ignore him. Obama stands for change, but the Republicans are allergic to it apparently.

if obama didnt have to make so many changes and REDUCE HIS SPENDING MAYBE the republicans would cooperate. I mean would YOU like it if some guy makes promises u like, never DOES them, increases taxes, goes to India TO GIVE THEM 13 JET PLANES ON A 500 MILLION DOLLAR A DAY TRIP, decreases NASA funding. and changes everything yet it FEELS like nothings changed?

Man I don't even know where to start.
"if obama didnt have to make so many changes"
Well we need to make so many changes because of the mess the Republicans got us into.
" if some guy makes promises u like, never DOES them"
Requote Kardas here;
"You have a point- problem is, the Republicans keep filibustering and and working against pretty much everything Obama has proposed. Pity, 'cause Obama said he wanted to bypass the bi-partisan system, but they just ignore him. Obama stands for change, but the Republicans are allergic to it apparently."
"decreases NASA funding"
Personally we have so many problems on earth not sure why we are putting so much money into trips to the moon.
"changes everything yet it FEELS like nothings changed?"
First off he's been in office a year, the trouble we're in will take more than a few years and will take a more united Senate to get out of. And anything he can get past the republicans will take time before we feel the full effects.
And on another note, I find it funny the Republicans always complain about spending when the reality is they spend the most via military budget. Spend any money on anything else Health care, education they freak out.
