SSNN: President Simon has signed a new national Healthcare bill into law. The bill was heavily opposed by Republicans, but heavilly supported by the Federalists.

Southwestern Scooby Snakian congressman (mostly Republicans) are now calling on the government to split the republic into semi autonomous regions, that would be governed by an elected council. President Simons approval rating is as low as 23% in parts of SW Scooby Snaks. Simon himself has declined such a move.

Millions of Scooby Snakians have flocked to the polls, overwhelmingly voting for Skooby Snaks (spelled with a K). 97% of voters in the nation have voted for their hometown hero on the first day of PM Elections.

Skooby Snaks currently leads Drugged Monkeys 57% to 43% in the TK polls one the first official day.

Captain Rodrick sees the flag of surrender on the horizon. He and his men let out a joyous cheer. Gonzdarians, CIW's, and Seatillins alike, all join together to capture remaining militant terrorists for questioning, to rescue civilians trapped under the rubble, and to disarm or take the remaining missles used in the battle. Captain Rodrick (inside of what once was the council building for Austin Setzer) turns to the platoon captains in the room with him and says "Good job men, when we rebuild this place, future Setzers will speak of the braze Gonzdarian soilders who led the fight to defeat the terrorists who tried to take them over." A general nod of approval, and a few tears, spread through the officers. Captain Rodrick starts again "For the King, for the Council, for Gonzdara! We will overcome!"

NGNS (National Gonzdara News Station) - Good morning Gonzdara, this is Dick Liesalot with your morning news. We have won the battle in Austin Setzer! With the help of the CIW and Seatille, the terrorist leader has been captured, and is now in questioning. Reconstruction projects have begun immediently.
In other news, Gregory Mercer has announced he will be holding the first regional Lug tournament very soon. He says this has NOTHING to do with the low support rate of the war in Austin Setzer.

In Empire City- Gregory Mercer is sitting at his desk, twirling a key ring around his finger. Lord Reginald, the leader of the Gonzdarian Knights, is sitting across from him. Lord Reginald lookd displeased as he leans over the desk and says to Mercer "The Knights do not approve of this battle you fought in Austin Setzer, Greg." Mercer looks suprised "But we won, we hardly spent any money, very little lives where lost, and if we hadnt done it the terrorists could have attacked Gonzdara." "Oh we know that, the war was just, but how many times do I have to tell you, you must seek the permission of the Knights to start a war, we are the ones in control here sir, not you." Gregory Mercer looks disgusted "What happened to the Knights sacred duty of serving Gonzdaras rulers, no matter what?" "That ended with the reign on Richard Claudian, and you know that, I cannot allow our order to follow a leader so blindly as to commit acts of villiany." Gregory Mercer stands up from his chair "you are to follow me! You are my servant, and I am your king! Do you understand that!"
A few hours later, Gregory Mercer is sitting alone in his office, and he is missing his right pinky finger. It was severed by Lord Reginald after their argument. All the lights are out because of the "national bedtime act" that The Knights made him pass from the Council. Gregory Mercer writes a bill by candlelight, strugling to write because of his missing finger. The bill is then sent to the remaining members of the Trav Khar union

Reconstruction of Austin Setzer act:
proposed by Gregory Mercer, of the nation Gonzdara:

- This is an act meant to rebuild the great nation of Austin Setzer, due to its recent descend into anarchy.
- Austin Setzer willt temporarily become a providence of Gonzdara
- Gonzdara will pay for all rebuilding projects in Austin Setzer
- The Gonzdarian military will defend Austin Setzers borders from invaders
- 5 representatives will be invited to join the Gonzdarian Council, where they will help to run Austin Setzer
- The Council will direct Austin Setzer, not the King
- If Gonzdara is unable to control Austin Setzer, then control will pass on to the Skooby Snaks, and then to the CIW
- When Austin Setzer is able to operate independantly, all forces will withdraw from the nation and control will be given back to Austin Setzer.

President Frank Simon announced today that he will deploy 10,000 troops to Austin Setzer along with food, water, and other supplies to support the rebuilding cause. Vice President Jon Grossman will make trips to both Austin Setzer and Gonzdara some time this upcoming week.

In other news a epidemic of some kind of flu has spread across the nation. Scooby Snaks Health Minister Sam Jones says that doctors are in the process of developing a vaccine, which should be out next week. He also advises people to wash their hands with soap and hot water and encourages infected people stay home.

General Henderson walks into president Morey's office and salutes to him.
"Mr. President it seems the war in Austinset is over, even before our main force got there."
"Thats good news, what about the situlation on Liberty Island?"
"Its more of a stalemate then anything. Everytime we reclaim territory we lose some. But the 1st Infantry Division landed on the island earlier today and are advanceing towards the enemy postions."
"What about the situation in Southern Seattile at the oil field."
"Not good sir, about one-third of the oil field was destoryed, and some of the oil is leaking," president Travis then stands up and looks out the window behind his desk and looks at the momunet too Seattile's independence.
"If only our country was united like it was back then. General as you know we have been in a civil war for over a decade, but it has never been this bad. We need to stop this war at its sorce, and stop this waste of life!" ordered president Morey.
"The mercenaries?"
"No general, the communist. Most likely their leaders were part of the former Communist Party. Tell Kerr to focus all his effort on trying to infiltrate the ranks of the enemy," general Henderson then walks towards the door.
"And general tell our allies... We need help."
"Yes sir."

Captain Sturnn was unsure how much casualties the rebel army suffered after the airstrike. Several trees had toppled over, but that wasn't always a good indicator. As the smoke strated to clear up, he could see silhouettes. It struck him that it did not seem as if they were holding weapons. He grabbed his binoculars, and confirmed his estimate. "Men, fire only on my command!" Sturnn shouted. Sure enough, the rebel forces had surrendered.
"Commander, we've got ourselves some PoWs, lots of them actually. What do we do with them?"
"Keep your eye on them, I want no surprises. Wait- I have just been informed that that Austin Setzer is temporarily under Gonzdaran jurisdiction. Seek out Captain Roderick, he should have answers."
"Roger. Sturnn out."
Sturnn turned to face the rest of his batallion. "Men, I am proud to announce that we are victorious! Gonzdaran forces have established control of the capital as I speak! I am certain that even though the enemy had no chance to see us fight, he felt the strength of our hearts and our courage! For they know the potential fury of the Kardas Dragon, and know we can be that fury incarnate! I congratulate you all on a job well done!"

- The CIW cabinet approves the Gonzdaran reconstruction act. Though some members felt that it was dishonorable that CIW control is granted only if Skooby Snaks fails, Count Sudooku stifled these protests.
- A bomb attack on the CIW mainland has been carried out. Apparently the target was Lt. Gen. Jonathan Gaunt, a high-ranking CIW military member. Though there were no deaths, several people have been sent to the hospital, Gaunt included. It is likely that Operation Mindcrime was behind this attack, but no information has been given by the CIW government.
- The rebel government of Austin Setzer has been soundly defeated, but its members have gone missing. For the time being, battlefleet Maiden will remain to patrol Austin Setzer waters.

In Austin Setzer- Gonzdarian, CIW, and Skooby Snak soilders alike, all share the lands of Austin Setzer as they try to keep control. They teach each other their customs and languages. Captain Rodrick establishes a military base where he trains Austin Setzer citizens to become police forces and counter terrorist squads. T
The Gonzdarian Council, which now holds 5 Setzers, passes a bill to establish medical outposts and constuction sites all across the capital of Austin Setzer.
Squads of soilders from Gonzdara, the CIW, and Skooby Snaks all lead attacks on places all over Trav Khar that are suspected to hold terrorists.

In the office of Gregory Mercer- Gregory Mercer gives a televised speech from his office. He hides his right hang the entire time. "Good morning Gonzdara, this is your King, Gregory Mercer. I would like to speak of the recent events in Austin Setzer. Although this war was shortlived, many lives have been lost, and the threat of a terrorist attack is still very real. I would like to commemorate the support of the CIW and Skooby Snaks, although they where not in the thick of the fight, we could not have won without them. I would also like to dispel the myths that I do not trust the CIW, they are a great ally of ours, I only chose Skooby Snaks to take control before them because they are closer to Austin Setzer, simple as that. There are many other myths going around these days; that the Knights have gone rouge and are taking over Gonzdara, that I am sick, that the government watches your every move without yyou even knowing, but none of these things are true. Gonzdara is one of the safest and greatest nations in Trav Khar, and I intend to keep it that way. Thank you Gonzdara, and good night."

NGNS (National Gonzdara News Station)- Good morning Gonzdara, this is Dick Liesalot with your morning news. King Mercer gave a fantastic speech yesterday, but that didnt seem to change the views of the populace, as we are getting word that a new group called the Gonzdarian Freedom Movement has been formed. The GFM are self proclaimed "freedom fighters" who believe Gonzdara should be a Capitalist Democracy, *sigh* the nerve of some people. Police forces have been warmed to watch out for these...terrorists, as the military is preoccupied in Austin Setzer.
Another outrage of civilians is the fact that the King and Council seems to be ignoring Seattile. Seattile is a powerful nation that is currently being ransacked by terrorists. The fact that Gonzdara is doing nothing about them but did everything in their power to help Austin Setzer, makes Gonzdarians think that we arent really fighting for safety and freedom, but simply defending our allies and trade partners.
In other news, President Jon Grossman of Skooby Snaks will be making a visit to Gonzdara soon, he is expected to discuss matters of importance with the King. Hopefully we can all benefit from this.
Latly, a new landmass has recently come under control of Trav Khar, Gonzdara hopes to establish a trading port on it, this will boost our economy enough to host the upcoming "Trav Khar Lug Tournament"

In the CIW- Everything seems to be going smoothly in the Scientific Research Base. They are coming closer and clsoer to a breakthrough every day.

In the slums of Empire City in Gonzdara- A Masked Figure turns to a crowd of Gonzers, all holding baseball bats and lead pipes, a few of them have rifles. The Masked Figure says to the crowd in a deep voice "Alright, we all know what to do, we're going to march into the city, Team A will distract the police by shooting at them, Team B will set off the minor explosives in the shops a few blocks down, then Team A will retreat to Team Bs position, drawing the Police to them, while I and the rest of Team C sets off the big bomb. Alright, are you ready? We are the GFM, we want freedom, and we want it now! Now lets move out!!!!!

Vice Prsident Jon Grossman has just taken off in in a Federal Jet from Scooby Snaks City Intl' Airport, and is on his way to Gonzdara where he plans to meet with the Gonzdarian King Gregory Mercer tomorrow morning to discuss the sitiuation in Austin Setzer as well as other issues. From there he will make his way to Austin Setzer, where he will meet with Gonzdarian council members.

In other news the vaccine for the flu epidemic has been approved foe use and is being shipped to doctors all over Scooby Snaks.

Scooby Snakians are crossing their fingers about the election as Skooby Snaks now trails the Evolution Party candidate Drugged Monkeys in the election 56% to 44%. One of Skooby Snaks colleagues in the Imperial Party NPLXIV is under intense scrutiney from other party members, Skooby, and Party Leader Gonzdara for sending in the vote that gave DM the lead in the PM election polls late Sunday night. Crowds of about 15,000 people gathered in Center Square in Scooby Snaks City tonight to show thier displeasure towards NPLXIV with some burning his nations flag and chanting "TRAITOR". President Simon also questioned the decision by NPLXIV. Well keep you posted on this over the next couple of days.

The meeting between President Grossman and King Mercer began recently. King Mercer plans on unveiling his 5 point plan which includes:

- A mass movement of Skooby Snak troops from Austin Setzer to Seatille to aid the legitimate government in their civil war
- An increase in forign aid to Gonzdara to continue the rebuilding projects in Austin Setzer
- The combined efforts of Gonzdara and Skooby Snaks to build sea based colonies in the "new world" (the new continent Kardas finished)
- Furthering the nuclear disarmament cause that they began earlier, effectivley dismantling all major nuclear missile sites that could possibly be taken by terrorists
- A campaign of regional adveratisments that will hopefully secure the Prime Minister elections.

King Mercer awaits President Grossmans responce to these issues, and hopes that President Grossman has some ideas of his own.

In other news, a series of violent attacks have been made directly on Empire City by the GFM, King Mercer says he will be dealing with this issue swiftly and personally. No more information has been revealed on this issue.

Vice President Grossman has concluded talks with King Mercer of Gonzdara today about the situation in war-torn Austin Setzer. In a televised address aimed at both Gonzdarians and Scooby Snakians, Grossman said that "the future of both nations heavilly lean on each other economically, militarily, diplomaticly, and territorilly."

In response to King Mercers five-point proposal, President Simon has called on 35,000 troops to make the trip to Seatille to assist in their efforts as they ender a civil war. This is in addition to the 10,000 troops currently in Austin Setzer, which is expected to be reduced to 5,000 by the end of the week.

He also said that his nation will work with Gonzdara to spread Imperial Influence in TK.
