Sorry for my COMPLETE lack of activity. College is demanding.
I'm not gonna add mountains or rivers; I'd rather have people form those themselves, so they can (almost) shape the nation they want to be. I was thinking to make the spots small, so everyone can pick 3 or 5 (not sure).
Ideas?
BUT FIRST, I need to finish the darn thing!

Kinda of a problem with that. If the map represents our world with a massive super continent in it, then technically such a world would probably be far to hostile to be inhabited by humans. This of course is only relevant if you want to be hiper-realistic (meh...I only brought it up as an excuse to show of  ) |

Yea good point allowing for a more personal customization in both choosing a few spots & self creation of nation's geological features. I would probably recommend 3, and to have many spots as to ensure for future Trav Kharians a spot. Of course I suppose you could always add another large plot of land if need be.
Maybe have a section of the map to represent IN? Also I have other plans for additional providences to come so maybe a section for them a some point? (obviously don't worry about till then)
Also maybe include a scale? Like 1cm is equal to so many miles or something.

@ Uyiria: It was not meant to be hyper-realistic. It was a (very) cheap and lazy method to get a realistic map. Of course I plan to make additions  @ Nibu: I could of course import one of the previous IN maps (saves me the effort of making another CIW map) and make that continent 2 (or something). I'll do my best to make a good scale with 3 picks. I've actually never ever given thought to a scale. The vagueness always worked for me. Besides, my sense of scale is absolutely terrible. Someone else could try though. |

Well even though I have class at 8:30 am, with Rhapsody of Fire keeping me focused, I sat down and made this:  If people like it I'll add numbers and we have a map! (PS; should I do import an IN map too Nibu?) I hope the spots' size differences aren't grating. |

Well if you where to import an IN map could you attach it to this map? So it appears as one map & not two? If not I wouldn't bother. Although it's really up to you, as your the most active member of IN, likely only you & Auto from IN will have a spot on the map, could just have you two near each other and refer to that area of the map as IN.
But if you can attach an IN map to it, you can keep some of the other IN nations who are unlikely to join our forum on it, like Kazzerland & Tevio.
Also I would suggest #ing them, even though it's a pain I know, but otherwise it's gona be confusing for people to pick spots I feel, or at least i'm unsure how it work.

Good news everyone IT'S DONE!  Edits made include changing areas of regions to make them more uniform, making the outline more uniform (aka tracing it with a fatter brush), making sure that the total amount of regions is divisible by 3, and adding The International Nations as a province. BTW Auto do you also want a spot on TK? I was thinking about getting one myself. I'm gonna give myself 18, 19,17,22. EDIT: Spots ARE OPEN! Just pick 3 spots, and I'll add you! You can also give a color of preference (dark blue taken already by me) |
