- CIW Head of State Count Sudooku has announced that he will join the the meeting shortly.
- The Count also spoke on the escalating situation between Cantiliahantan and Gonzdara: "The recent events in Cantiliahantan have taken a most tragic turn. This was a disturbing rejection of the benefits of diplomacy on the part of Cantiliahantan. The Confederacy does not wish to see this region plagued by more conflict. Should an armed struggle ensue regardless, then out of honor shall we support the Gonzdarians!"
- CIW Battlefleet Jack'o Lantern (composed of the aircraft carriers CNS Weiki, CNS Michi, CNS Hansen, CNS Swichtenberg and CNS Grosskopf, along with the supercarrier CNS Belisarius and around 50 destroyers, cruisers and frigates) is stationed near, but still outside Cantiliahantan territorial waters. Apparently the fleet is under orders to prevent escalation of the conflict and protect King Mercer during his departure.

(after King Mercer arrives in Empire City after evading Cantahilahantan ships. He was able to escape with CIW support)

In the office of Gregory Mercer- King Mercer spins around in his desk chair to face the leaders of Skooby Snaks, Austin Setzer, and the CIW. The King looks solemly at the three men and says "well, if anyone has any ideas id love to hear it."

"The situation grows darker with every passing minute," Sudooku spoke dryly.
"Jack O'Lantern is under threat of destruction. In international waters even! Surely this is an act of war?" Grevious replied aggressively.
"Retreat is still an option," Sudooku reassured. "I cannot fathom why Cantiliahantan acts aggressively towards the Confederacy while we remain neutral for the time being. We must take another option."
There was a quick pause.
"The CIW is not yet on hostile terms with Cantiliahantan I hope. Perhaps diplomacy is still in order?"
"Okay, but the reports on the captured Gonzdarians?" Vayzon cut in.
"Hopefully... I can arrange something. Hopefully Kopaka can sort out matters. I cannot attend- I must convene with Mercer and Setzer."
"And so our Foreign Minister meets with a Canta... Cantina... Cantiliahantan government official? Get stuff done?" Vayzon shrugged. "Worth a shot."
"We must act cautiously however," Sudooku replied. "We shall ask first. If the meeting cannot be held on neutral ground, Cantiliahantan soil is also a satisfactory meeting place for the two. But we must secure an agreement that no harm shall come to both. Now, I must leave."
"Yes sir, I'll keep you on standby," said Grevious.
"Gotcha. I'll do my best!" remarked Vayzon.

- Count Sudooku inquires on the diplomatic stance of Cantiliahantan toward the CIW. Sudooku hopes that a diplomatic meeting can be arranged if relations are still not hostile.

Count Sudooku spoke: "I know the situation between Gonzdara and Cantiliahantan is... frosty, but I believe this isn't yet so for the CIW. I hope that the Sultanate will accept my offer and meet with my Foreign Minister Kopaka, so we can perhaps still defuse the situation."

King Mercer: A very good idea Sudooku, oh and by the way, its good to see you in person finnally, ill be expecting you at the TKLC soon *Mercer smiles*.
But, Austin, I dont think an invasion is neccesary, I want to avoid it if I can. Cantahilahantan must know deep down they cant win this thing, we outnumber them too much. Oh, and about their old Sultanate. Once he learned his nation had replaced him, he expressed how he though that Gonzdarians where honorable, and he became a member of our council, but he is still being closely watched.
